Importance of Communion

Luke 22:19-20

After taking the bread and giving thanks, Jesus broke it and gave it to them, saying "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me".  In the same way, he took the cup after the meal and said "This cup is the new covenant by my blood, which is poured out for you".

Jesus died for one and all.  By coming before the communion table, we are actively participating in not only the physical act of eating and drinking, but in the spiritual act of remembering, and acknowledging his sacrifice for us.  If you would like to know more about Jesus, His sacrifice, or the meaning of communion, please contact Pastor Mackey or any of the elders.  We are here for you.
